Personal Data Guide

You can read the atlas without an account. The message preparation tool keeps your text in the page until you choose what to do with it.

Scope and contact

This guide concerns zigzagotterpixl.cfd, published under the name Zigzag Otter Pixl. For questions about personal data or a request concerning correspondence, email [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject.

Browsing the site

Our editorial pages do not contain account registration, advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Loading a page still involves ordinary network requests. Hosting and network providers may process technical information such as an IP address, requested path, request time and browser information to deliver content, maintain service and protect against abuse.

This guide does not promise that infrastructure logs do not exist. Provider-specific log retention and processing locations are not specified here. Contact us if you need information about the current hosting arrangements before sharing personal data.

The message preparation tool

The Object, Context and Message fields are processed by JavaScript in your browser. Preview does not transmit them. Copy requests permission or browser access to write the prepared text to your clipboard. Download creates a plain-text file on your device. No website account, server submission or draft database is involved.

The page scripts do not save drafts in cookies or localStorage. Your browser may independently restore form fields or retain downloads and clipboard contents. On a shared device, clear sensitive text and manage those browser or operating-system features yourself.

If you email us

Emailing is separate from using the tool. An email provides your address, the contents you choose to send and ordinary message metadata. That information may be used to review a suggestion, investigate a correction, reply or maintain relevant editorial correspondence. Email providers process messages as part of delivery and storage.

Do not send medical histories, identity documents, payment information or another person’s private details. We do not sell correspondence or use it for advertising profiles. We do not automatically publish a correspondent’s name or private message.

Retention and disclosure

Correspondence should be kept only while needed for the request, relevant editorial records, security or legal obligations. There is no universal fixed retention period stated for every message. You may request deletion; applicable obligations, legitimate recordkeeping needs and provider backups can affect what can be removed immediately.

Information may be handled by service providers needed for hosting or email, or disclosed where required by applicable law. Email and hosting services may operate in jurisdictions different from yours. Avoid sending information you are not comfortable transmitting by ordinary email.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, request portability or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the address above to explain your request. We may need proportionate information to establish that the request concerns your data.

Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, handling an inquiry and securing the service may rely on legitimate interests, while some records may be required by law. Any optional processing requiring consent should have a separate, specific explanation.
